Abhay is an ILS Law College Pune alumnus (2009) where he pursued a 5 year Bachelors program in BSL LLB. Alongside his graduation, he took up a diploma in Corporate Law at ILS. He also carried his pursuit for law further by taking up LLM from Mumbai University in Environmental Law.

In 2009, Abhay’s professional career in law began with a brief stint with Mr. Ramesh Soni, a senior and renowned lawyer. His very next endeavour began with M/s. Jayakar and Partners, Advocates and Solicitors (erstwhile Khaitan, Jayakar, Sud & Vohra) in February 2010 as an Associate and went on to become a Partner with them in 2017. 

As a man of method, Abhay has gathered considerable experience in civil, criminal as well as commercial litigation. He regularly appears before the Supreme Court, the High Court and the City Civil & Sessions Court at Mumbai. Besides these, he appears before different tribunals/judicial & quasi-judicial forums including but not limited to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), the Charity Commissioner and the RERA Authority.

Abhay has been passionately involved in conducting legal due diligence as well as the entire documentation involved in diverse property and corporate transactions. He also deals in transactions related to purchase, sale, leasing, licensing, construction, development, redevelopment, mortgage, gift, etc. Abhay represents several religious institutions out of care for religious causes; and can be reached out for pro bono cases regarding the same.
