Ashwin completed his schooling from St. Xaviers High School, Mumbai and thereafter graduated from the Government Law College, Mumbai in 2005, after doing the 3 years Law Course. Thereafter, he obtained his Masters degree in Criminology from the University of Mumbai in 2008.

Ashwin joined Jayakar and Partners (erstwhile Khaitan, Jayakar, Sud and Vohra) in 2007 as an Associate and was made a Partner in the year 2013.

He has considerable experience and expertise in civil and commercial law, family law matters, Indirect Tax matters arising under the Customs and Excise Act, Domestic Commercial Arbitrations as well as Property related transactions. He also has a firm grip on criminal practice, having personally handled multiple criminal matters, Ashwin has also exclusively handled various matters before the Hon’ble Supreme Court. He has a hands-on approach towards matters and is involved in all stages of a matter starting from advising, strategizing, drafting necessary pleadings for his clients and also appearing and arguing matters. Ashwin also appears on In-house counsel for various matters of the firm.
