After completing his schooling and junior college studies from Sou. Vimlabai Garware Prashala, Pune, Pankaj commenced his law studies in Symbiosis Law College, Pune. After getting his Sanad from the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, he started his career in the District Court, Pune and the High Court Mumbai and also completed his LL.M from the Pune University in 2000.

For expansion of educational horizons, he pursued a post graduate course in Cardiff University, UK and completed his post graduation, i.e. LL.M in Commercial Law in the year 2002. Thereafter he completed Vocational Course from the “The College of Law”, London and he was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple Inn, London, in the year 2004. In January 2006 he joined M/s. Khaitan Jayakar Sud &Vohra as an Advocate Assistant and was made partner in M/s. Jayakar & Partners in August 2011.

He has considerable experience in civil and criminal litigation, commercial and family law as well as revenue matters including land laws and regularly appears in the Hon’ble High Court, Supreme Court, City Civil Courts, Central and State Administrative Tribunals and various quasi-judicial and Arbitral Tribunals/Bodies. Judgements in many matters in which he has appeared have been reported.

On account of a keen interest in amelioration of the lot of under privileged citizens and as a responsibility towards society, he is involved in public interest activities and is a part of NGO which runs educational institutions, old age home, orphanage and carries on other social activities.
